It was Christmas 2013 and Dominique was searching for the perfect gift for her boyfriend, Sheldon. As she searched the stores through the hustle and bustle of the seasonal shoppers, she became discouraged. Nothing seemed to really catch her attention. Then all of a sudden, she saw the perfect gift. It was a red bowtie. BUT it was $49.95. As a college student at the University of Georgia, $50.00 was all she had to spend for everybody’s Christmas gifts that year. So unfortunately, she couldn’t get the tie. Being creative, Dominique decided to draw a picture of the tie and wrap it in Christmas paper. On Christmas day Sheldon opened it, and on the tie it read, “To my love, the tie I wanted to get you…but couldn’t afford.”

     

           Instantly, Sheldon’s entrepreneurial spirit kicked in. He looked at Dominique and said, “Don’t worry I got a plan…you’ll never have to worry about finding the perfect tie for me…just create it.” At that time, Dominique didn’t know what that meant. But, after several months things became very clear. Early 2014 Sheldon approached Dominique with a business proposition, and the rest is history.
